After graduating with a BA(Hons) Costume for the Screen and Stage from The Arts University College Bournemouth in South England Linda Tiebel started her career in London, England. She worked in a variety of positions in the theatre industry, namely as costume maker, dresser, wardrobe assistant, costume assistant and costume supervisor as well as costume designer and gained a thorough understanding of her field.
Upon returning to her country of origin, Germany, she continued working in the positions of costume assistant and costume supervisor at the Komische Opera Berlin and the Deutsches Theater Berlin. She simultaneously acted as costume and set designer on a multitude of theatre and film productions and continued into higher education, finishing her studies with a Diplom from weissensee kunsthochschule berlin.
In 2016 Linda Tiebel established her performance design company which is based in Berlin, Germany. Her latest works include the set design for the childrens opera Parsifal at Bayreuther Festspiele.
